THE WHISPERING TREES – A REVIEW

A collection of twelve tales told in 161(a hundred and sixty one) leaves, the narrative predominantly revolves around the human motions of birth, marriage (kinship) and death; and the much more controversial idea of rebirth cum life after death. The highly conspicuous Northern Nigerian flavor and fervor borne by most of the stories cannot go unnoticed. Each story is beautifully told, each page telling you to turn right unto the next.
